Heya

Heres my query (i must start from the beginning for most of this to make sense)
After cracking me iphone 3g screen for a second time, i bought another mates broken iphone in order to use his LCD screen (seeing how he wont be needing it anymore) and everything was working fine, until a few says ago... The iphone connector cable 3# socket was damaged (or so i believe) and i could no longer hear without using the loudspeaker. after tinkering inside the iphone it would no longer turn on, i used the other broken iphone to test if the LCD was working, it is.
So i deduced that either something is wrong with the cable connector 1# socket or the iphone itself is damaged
A thought came accross today what if i can convert the essentially MY iphone into the wreck of the other iphone (my mates old one) seeing how his logic board is working and connector is not damaged and works with the LCD.
to further clarify im asking if i can put MY iphone into the other iphone (somewhat swapping the components)
if anyone knows if this is possible or could point me in the right direction would be muchly appreciated.

notes: both iphones are 3G.
(Mates iphone was bricked or something, he couldn't get it to work so i took it off his hands. it will turn on but nothing else will happen.)

Hope this makes sense to someone
peace and love
