Ok.... my iPhone 3G is a little over a year old. Right around the year mark I tried to back it up and it crashed during backup. By crash I mean it dumped all info I had stored including: Numbers, notes, music, applications and I couldn't even use it as a phone. It gave me the "connect to iTunes" screen it gives you when you first buy it. I did a restore and it worked fine until a new update was available and it crashed again. This has happened 4 times altogether and 3 of which were in less than a month. Today I was driving down the road listening to music in the iPod app and it crashed again. This is starting to become a real frustration.... now I can't even use it as a phone for fear of a crash during use. Is it nothing more than a paper weight now?
