I'm really sorry if this sounds redundant, but I am receiving conflicting info from ATT, Apple, etc. If I am a current ATT iphone customer and want to upgrade to the new iphone, what exactly is entailed? I'm not past due on my account, and I am eligible for the lower price. Does ATT still run a full credit check? I'm concerned because I am in the process of refinancing and I don't want any credit inquiries. Do they (ATT) purely look at my account as part of the credit check process or do they run my SSN, etc? Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

No, current AT&T customers do not have another credit check preformed..

Credit check is only for NEW customer activation..
