Well it seems someone has release one out there that will adapt your older firewire based stations for the new iPhone 3G.

Good news is it has a side mini-usb port so you can charge off a usb cable.

Yeah, but for $40, you might as well get a new charger cable that's compatible.

I guess it's useful for radio head units that only charge via firewire.
