Iphone 3g does not start up

Hallo

I have a little problem with my iphone 3g it is jailbroken
So when I awoke and looked on my iphone it did not work I thought the battery would have been empty so I tried to charge it.

But I did not show anything that is war recharging it did not show the battery.
When I tried the charger on my dad`s iphone it did work.
So what do I need to do know with my iphone ?

PS. Sorry for my english I`m from the Netherlands

Already fixed resetted a few times and it did work.
