iPhone 3G eXtndr?

I have too much time in my hands (summer vacation and waiting for my iPhone) So I created this concept drawing about external keyboard for iPhone. What do you all think?, would there be audience for this type of accessory? What would you add to that?

I think it would be worthwild to have a pull out KB but would the form factor stay the same as the original? I wouldn't want a thicker iphone. its at its limit for me anyway.
