iPhone 3G Facebook Problem

I am currently running 3.1.3 on my 16GB iPhone 3G which used to have 4.2.1 but I downgraded for obvious reasons. Now my problem is when I try to get Facebook it doesn't let me cause I nee 4.0 or higher. I tried spoofing my firmware but when I try to Install the Facebook app from the app store it never works It just goes back to Free after I already clicked it once to Install. I also transferred a lot of .ipa files via SSH to my Installous downloads and tried installing Facebook with those, some of them install but all of them crash when I try to open them. Is there a solution for this? Thank you.
