So i went to the AT&T store today to try out the iPhone 3G. I figured I should try it out, considering last time I had never used an iPhone until I bought it.

Obviously I'm a pretty big Apple fan :D

Anyway, coming from a former owner of the original iPhone, I have to say that I like the feel of this one better. I like the back better. It's not nearly as finger print prone as people say, or maybe I just don't have very oily fingers. I also love the new metal button, especially the ring/silence switch. It just feel really good.

Also, I know that a lot of people really hate the yellowish screen, but I actually really like it! All the icons pop a lot more and it seems a lot brighter and warmer than either the original iPhone or the touch. And I checked all six display models, and all the screens looked the same, so it's not like I just saw one good screen. I genuinely like the more yellowy tint that the screen have.

Also, while the old one felt cool and slick in you hand (not a bad thing, as it did feel expensive) this one is simply more comfortable in your hand.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to see a white one in person, as my store only had the black 8GB models out on display, so I don't have any opinions on the white, but the black is very nice. Once again, I gotta say that I think I like the black back..... *GASP* ......... more than the original backing. The original simply looked too busy, with the silver ring border around the screen, and then the matte black and anodized aluminum curving up around it. This design is much more clean, at least with the black model, and I think it looks amazing.

Any other original iPhone owners/ex owners out there that agree with me? I can't be alone on this
