Hey guys...the thread title says it all.
Anyone experience this? if yes, please tell me how to solve this very annoying problem.

The phone is on the Edge network. I have used the sim card in a Nokia to see if the problem exists but it does not.

The iPhone is probably transferring data at the time of the incoming call. That's the downside to EDGE - you cannot have simultaneous data and calls, like you can on 3G.

Thanks for your input. I followed it up and came across this. Turns out the phone is in a NOM 1 implying that the EDGE connection will be interrupted in case of a call.

*bump*
Well...I am still not past this issue!
I upgraded to iOS 4 and switched off cellular data..(no Edge/3G) and I still freakin' have this problem!!!

Anybody here who faced the same problem?
