iPhone 3G full reset and the firmware?

Hi,

When a full reset is done on iPhone 3G that was upgraded to 3.0 software, does it also reset the firmware version to the original factory version? what was the original factory modem firmware version?

nope i think if you reset the phone it will only reset it to the latest firmware you have downloaded in iTunes

If you do a restore it will try to download the newer official OS that is available. If you hold down option and click restore it will let you select a previously downloaded OS.
