i know this is a dumb question and probley old but what type of GPU ( graphics processor ) does the iphone 3g use ?
Also does the Storm include a GPU ?
Thanks guys

iPhone:

CPU 620 MHz ARM 1176, underclocked to 412 MHz
GPU: PowerVR MBX Lite 3D

Storm:

CPU 528 MHz Qualcomm processor

I don't know the GPU of the Storm, but honestly, does it really matter?

Not to mention, the iPhone is just... better...

The storm does not have hardware graphics acceleration. The iPhone uses Imagination's "PowerVR MBX lite". This is not bad, but the new PowerVR "SGX" core is the newest and significantly faster than the MBX.

PowerVR MBX Lite, like many other phones, including the later RAZR models.

The Storm?

Qualcomm GPU and other hardware assists (some of which are obviously not used - e.g. video conferencing):
