iPhone 3g Guided Access

Hi everyone, we use an old iPhone 5 for my little girl to watch videos. Unfortunately the screen got shattered, so we have an old iPhone 3G too, but with the older software we can't use Guided Access to lock the screen. Is there any other way to lock it, would jailbreaking it help?
