Iphone 3G ~ Having problems with just updated 3.0 software!

Hey i've been able to update to 3.0 software! I soon as i did it i had a quick glimpse of my screen and then i restored it so all my contacts.. eg came on. the problem is that as soon as it finished restoring (all ok) i looked at my screen and many things where missing! now i only have :
youtube
maps
Settings
itunes
app store
voice memos
phone
messages
safari
ipod
Please help. Whats wrong?!?

Was it jailbroken before? If it was, you should try turning resetting the home screen layout in settings>general>reset>reset home screen layout. Or you can also try turning restrictions on and off.
