Iphone 3g help

A guy at at my work bought my old 3g and i reset it and erased all data. Now he cant get it to restore in itunes what can we do? he is only using it as a ipod not as a phone. Any help would be awesome thax.
 
Nevermind guys i figured it out thanks for none of the responses lol.:p
