I have an old iPhone 3G brand-new and never booted. It still has the old 2.0 software, but updating isn't hard. My question is, how much could I get if:

1. I sell it as-is. Brand new and everything?
2. If I jailbreak and unlock it (obviously to latest firmware) ?

Got an answer? Leave a comment. :D

I'm selling my 1.3 yr old 3G, 3.1.3, great condition, to my co worker for $100. Sell it now on Ebay and you can easily get double and more. Can get more for Jailbreaking it

I sold my original iPhone on eBay for $210 two weeks ago.

If getting money is the most important thing to you... I'd advise you to pay $2 on eBay to register your phone's udid, update to 4.0, and then sell it on eBay.

I sold my jailbroken and unlocked 3G on eBay for $350 a few months ago. I wouldn't update anything. Simply boot it and jailbreak it. Then advertise as such.
