I notice that I am not the only one that is constanlty swicthing Wi-fi on and off depending if they are at home ( or a secure area) or if they are away

Wouldn't it be cool if you could set wi-fi to be on only if it detects you are in a "allowed" area (GPS) , and turns it off if you are on the go ( like if you are driving )

Hmm that could be useful....

As long as it was easily turned off it you wanted to access Wi-Fi, say at a friend's house.

That would be an awesome option to have. What would be better is if it turned on 3G once you went out of the WiFi set area.

yeah that would definitely make the battery life last longer as well
