Hi all,

I have a first gen iPhone but it is superslow right now. It is still very slow even if I restore the phone and delete everything. Why is this happening? I know that harddrive can be corrupted but iphone has ssd?

For example, I have to wait few seconds before the weather app will open.

It happens when you have newer versions of iOS and the phones hardware can't support it. The 3G and 1st gen iPhone have the same internals apart from a 3G chip. When later versions of iOS were put on them they started to slow. Its happening to the 3GS with iOS 5 now.
