Hello,

I have an iPhone 3g with iOs 4.0.1. I jailbreaked it using jailbreakme.com and the unlocked it with ultrasn0w. Additionally I installed openSSH. It says that my CB is T-Mobile 7.0

The problem is that I can't change the APN settings and can't activate tethering. I was able to set the APN options using Apple's Iphone configurator to create a new profile.

Tethering remains invisible though. I have tried Benm.at and iphone-notes.com. It doesn't work.

The iPhone has a simyo SIM.

Please help me. How can I activate native tethering?
Thank you,
Yannis

How to activate Tethering in Germany

Hello, here goes a guide to activate tethering in Germany.
This was made with a Fonic SIM-Card, but the same with other SIM-Cards.
As far as I know, not every SIM-Card allows it.

The guide: www.germansimcard.com/iphone-tethering
I also have a free voucher for the SIM-Card (gives you a 100% discount at checkout): Germany
