iPhone 3G iOS 4 Jailbreak; Exit Safe Mode [Help]

Hey,

I jailbroke my iPhone 3G 4.0 Firmware today, and it was the first time i'de ever jailbroken,
I was very happy with the jailbreak and loved adding new themes..
however
i downloaded this Five Row App thing from cydia and it put my phone into safe mode, and i had the option to continue in safe mode or restart to exit safe mode, but i did restart and yet its still in safe mode, so i tried removing the latest cydia app i downloaded, but still no change..

I had to restore,
Is it worth me doing this again or will it happen again?

OR

Maybe there was an easier way to solve it but i just didn't know..

the easier way to solve it would be to never have encountered the problem, because, in doing your due diligence you checked the app's compatibility with iOS4

I would read through that list and make sure there is nothing else you want to download in conflict

Ah so your saying i have downloaded something that isn't compatable and it put my phone into safe mode.

Is there anyway to get out of safe mode without restoring?

Ah yes dude your completely right..

I just checked that list and the thing i downloaded said "Status: NO - Safe Mode Automaticly"

well, how hard can i be on your first jailbreak...
