iPhone 3g keeps resetting, home button broken

Hello,
I am new to this forum, please can you help! I have searched all over and cannot come up with an answer. My situation is I replaced my back cover for my iPhone and then turned it on. It was working just fine until I reset it the other day, now it keeps resetting and I guess my homebutton is not working now. So I cannot put it in DFU mode, so PLEASE if anyone knows the answer I would REALLY appreciate for any assistance.

Open up the back again I guess, and make sure you can get the home button working again. Otherwise, you might be out of luck.
