Iphone 3g mail screwing up Apple Mail

I set up my iPhone 3g to check both my Gmail account and my school account. It checks both of them fine but everytime it checks the school account, when I subsequently try and check the same account from my computer using Mail it makes me reenter the password, even though it is saved correctly in Keychain. I try and click the box to save it keychain again, I tried deleting it and saving it fresh in keychain, but to no avail. Not a major problem, but an inconvenience, any suggestions on what's up?
