Iphone 3G Maps App crashes

Iphone 3G Maps App crashes or locks up whenever I try to edit the start and end locations for directions.

Can this app be removed and then reinstalled? Looking for anything that might fix this issue, its becoming a major hassle.

I have the same problem - really annoying. Would really welcome a fix. Thanks in advance.

You can't remove and reinstall maps.
You have to restore.

Best thing to do is go ahead and try doing a full restore as was mentioned above, it really is your only option.
