i have had an ipod touch 16gb for about 8months. I'll be selling it soon to make way for the iphone 3G 16gb that I got on few days ago.

Anyway, today was first time I used the iphone for playing music using my headphones and everything definately seems much louder than touch ever was. Is this a known fact?

The settings on boths are exactly same. SOund check is always off. But when i play same songs on iphone, they are a lot louder when volume bar is at same level.

Anyone else noticed this or am I going mad?

I also noticed the iPhone sounded louder and better. I don't have my Touch anymore to compare but when i first got the phone, i noticed it.
