Speaking of buying, what are the process of buying an iphone from the apple store? Do you need to sign up on the spot or do you just need to be pre approved and take the phone home for activation?

they buy from a wholeseller in bulks of 10 or 20's sometimes.. they get them cheaper when they buy more.

when did apple sell iphone 3G's to wholesellers?

My guess is the ebay reseller's must be apple employee's and buying iphones in bulk without contracts and all.
