Hi guys, I upgraded my old iPhone to the iPhone 3g (16GB) today and I didn't recieve a new SIM card from O2 I was just wondering was I supposed to or is the old SIM also support 3G?

Thanks.

Just remove your old sim from your iPhone 2G and stick it in your new 3G model.

You will then have to connect the new phone to your computer and finish activation through itunes, I selected the 'New Phone' Option.

Instructions from O2 have been poor to say the least!

Thanks for your reply, I got the phone up and running. It's weird though that O2 would provide a sealed packet that states it is the 3G SIM and it's empty.
