I don't know which one to get. I got iPod Touch 2G 8GB with a 25 dollar iTunes card for 225 US dollars(Black Friday Sale) and didn't even open it. I don't know if I should get my money back and go for an iPhone 3G or just to keep the iPod Touch.

Why I want each:
iPhone
My Pros:
-Internet all over
-OCD = like to have Phone and Media Player together
-White iPhone matches my MacBook Pros accessories
-My current phone sucks at adding contacts from my Apple Computers address book.
-Also heard you can't hack iPod Touch.

iPod Touch
My Pros:
-Heard it had a faster CPU and could play games faster and search internet faster
-Non-Plastic casing
-No expensive phone bill.
-Slimmer

I listen to this forums comments before about my Camera and man you guys picked an awesome camera for me. So I am going to have to listen to you this time and focus on iPhone. Thanks!

i will say having internet everywhere (for maps/whatever) is nice

very cool to check scores or email so i vote iphone buuuut then again i have both. the ipod touch made me want to get an iphone once my old phone contract went up lol

No question get a iPhone I bought a iPod touch and I love it but I want more. Holding to get my hands I a iPhone after x-mas. iPod touch great but get the iPhone.

The iPhone is a great tool to have. It comes in handy whenever you could be lost, have a question, etc. With the iPod touch, you don't have GPS, internet everywhere, a camera, texting, etc.

If you can afford the data plan, then get the iPhone.

This isn't a valid question b/c it's apples and oranges.

For example, should I get a stereo system or a TV? Which one is better?

Errr, they're totally different things. No one shopping for a phone should looking at iPods, and no one shopping for an MP3 player should be looking at phones.
