I setup my e-mail I have for my University program in my iPhone successfully (I thought) and receive e-mails correctly. My problem is that when I try to now send a message from my iPhone in that account it gives me the error message "Cannot Send Mail - The connection to the outgoing server "bl2prd0102.outlook.com" failed. Additional Outgoing Mail Servers can be configured in Settings > Mail, Contacts and Calendars." That is the same server I setup the incoming messages with that worked. What am I missing? Thanks.

Did you make sure that you entered a username and password for the smtp server??

Woohoo - resolved - Use SSL option was set to OFF

Yes I did but apparently I was missing one small setting. I had to go into the SMTP settings and turn on the Use SSL option. That was all I was missing, default must be set to off or something.

Thanks, that was just enough to get me in the right direction to get it figured out! I am all good now.
