Hello, I've acquired a very crappy iPhone that is in desperate need of parts. As it stands the phone will charge via a wall charger but no computer will recognize the device. I can tell the phone has obviously been dropped and was wondering if this may be a hardware issue and if replacing the entire charging port would fix this?

Also, the sleep/wake button is not functioning correctly. A great deal of pressure must be placed on either side of the corner of the iPhone for the button to function. Will replacing just the plastic button fix this issue or is the problem originating from the internal bracket/assembly?

Any input would greatly help, thanks.
