I have an alpine head unit in my vehicle, which doesn't charge my iPhone 3G. But, with the Scosche passPORT, it would allow me to retain the head unit control function of my iPhone, and charge it at the same time.
The problem is, I have the otterbox defender case, and the opening for the plug in the bottom, I can already tell is going to be too small to accommodate the passPORT.
Is there any kind of extension cable for an iPhone that I can connect between the Scosche passPORT and my iPhone that will let me keep both my case and charging capability of my headunit? Basicly, a 30-pin to 30-pin short connector?
