iPhone 3G poor sound quality comparing to uMBP

Hello.

I bought that new earphones apple on ebay:

I notice a huge improvement listen to my music from my uMBP comparing to the original iPhone classic earphones:

Unfortunately I don´t notice improvement on my iPhone 3G, it´s the same poor quality and distortion.

I have the same music library on iphone and iTunes, so isn´t a bitrate problem and confirm that iphone output sound is really bad or my unit is a faulty one.
