iphone 3G - Post batt / usage / standby times

My battery is now around 40% having installed 2.1 and left overnight in standby on airplane mode then used since this morning..

Usage - 7 hours, 41 mins
Standby - 13 Hours, 7 mins


battery was more than half then dropped quite a bit since I turned on 3G
