Hey Guys,

I have an 8GB iPhone 3G and I have a strange problem with it.
He will continuously reboot (Apple logo and then after a few seconds he jumps to black and that he continues to do that).
When I hang it on the USB cable it just starts and I can do whatever I want.

But when it starts up I immediately get to see the "Slide to power off' menu as iff the power button is always pressed.
Just hit the button does not make sense, then nothing happens. But if I then reset using the home button he resets as you'd expect.

I replaced the flex cable where the power button is located (with mic. Jack and volume / mute button, etc.) but the problem remains.
I also did a restore from iTunes but that doesn't make sense either.

Does anyone know what else I can try?
