iPhone 3G Problem with speakers

For some reason my right speaker is really soft compared to the left one.
I tried covering up each side and i noticed it.

Is it normal or should i bring it back to apple store right away?

Those aren't stereo speakers. One's the mic, the other is the mono speaker.

Take it to the Apple store asap. On your way there or while you are waiting in line you might think of reading the manual.

I just noticed this to.. i covered the left speaker and sound almost went dead as nothing was coming from the right speaker - which turns out to be the microphone

panic over.. lol!!
