I bought my 3G on launch day. When I first signed up I had the middle plan which made my bills well over 100. I recently (probably around January) downgraded so my bills are barely over 100 now. My upgrade date is 12/1/09 which I've just decided to deal with instead of argue over.
However, I'd had some problems with my phone in the months before the 3GS came out. I took my phone in 4 times to the apple store and each time was basically told that my phone was fine--it continued to error....
Of course now my warranty has lapsed and I'm irate because the phone just keeps getting worse and worse. It drops calls over 10x a day. It will show FULL bars, but then have numerous failed calls. The phone itself is running alot slower than it used to and again even with full bars can't load Safari.
One of the times I took my phone it they replaced the screen due to dust. I've never had an issue with it before but now the screen is lifting up and the black padding that runs around it is coming off in one corner. I'm so irate because I feel like that I have no hope since my warranty has lapsed. I told the 4 or 5 geniuses that I came across when my phone first started having problems that I was worried that they wouldn't exchange it for a new phone and it would continue to decline until my warranty was up and lo and behold, it has ended and I feel like I got used....
What do you recommend? Do any of you think I'll have ANY luck at the apple store??
