1 i dropped it hard and got the screen of death --the white screen..

2 i opened it up and placed the connectors back and still get the white screen.,

3 after the phone being powerless from taking it apart i now cannot tether even though the phone syncs ok..so i assume the logic board is ok..
so my next question would be ..

even it has been powerless after i have taken the phone apart does the settings i had before i.e tethering trn itself off..

and should i only just get the lcd replaced?

kinda suprised no one has a reply yet..is there any reason why or should i giveout more details of my accident.?

Hi,

Their could be a host of possible issues.

Your choices are ;

Continue to tinker with it and spend money on a possible lost cause.

Let it go to Apple heaven and purchase a replacement.

my iphone is now repaired and it was the lcd that needed replacing..i just wanted to justify the point that it was worth replacing at £35 ..but have faith in your handest ..
