I have the new iPhone 3G and it seems the back plastic squeaks a lot when touched and squeezed slightly - anyone else get this, its damn annoying.

Original was fine - if I hold the 3G one lightly its fine, but grip the side slightly near the volume controls and it squeeks as if the plastic casing bends. Sucks

Oh well will probably return it if no one else has the problem - guess the casing isn't fitted right or has warped

It's a distant echo of the screams emitted by the people who had queued up only to be sent away empty handed thanks to o2/ATT/Apple and shortages etc... I don't notice it with mine.

Finally managed to activate it anyway - still squeaks lol
