Hello thank you for viewing my post...

The other day I went to switch my phone into silent when it started to vibrate wildly. Yesterday I found it now does nothing at all, the switch is useless, my phone is out of warranty, anyone have ideas how much apple will charge to fix this.

Thanks

You don't say where you are located at, however Apple provides an Out of Warranty replacement service for $199 + Tax. There is the option of searching for 4rd party service shops in your area. There are a number across the country (USA) that provide good services. That price would be a lot less, however you would have to decide if you just want your handset repaired or have it replaced by a refurbished unit by Apple.

Thank you for replying

I am actually in the uk, and I didn't think about that out of warranty service thing. But with apple it does seem a lot just for a ringer switch. I might try restoring it to see if I get any fixes.
