iPhone 3G, running 3.0, jailbroken but no icons!

I just "successfully" jailbroken my phone but i can't see any of the icons that it suppose to come with it. The phone is acting super slow and when i'd turn it on, after the apple icon comes out, appears a black screen for like 15 seconds!

is it jailbroken?
