I got $400 in AT&T gift cards (my mom fears going into an Apple Store, don't ask why) for the express intent of buying an iPhone with them. Unfortunately, I can't use them online and when I went to an AT&T store today, they can't even use them to order it (they called it direct fulfill or something). They said direct fulfill is taking two weeks right now and that I can buy a phone on credit card (no debit card) and use the gift cards for paying the bill. OR, I can wait and when they start stocking the phones in the store, I can use the gift cards then. My question is, does anyone know when they might stock the stores? Does anyone remember when that happened last year? A month? Two? Sorry for the long post.
