I was wondering when the next new iPhone or iPhone 4th Generation is coming? Does it have like a confirmed date or month like the ipod touch does?

seriously?

I do think there is a point to this though. It would be nice for Apple to shake things up a bit and release major software updates or hardware updates at different times..For instance, iPods ALWAYS in September/October, iPhone ALWAYS in June/July. Why not shake things up so people don't know what to expect or when to expect it, that way when you do announce something it's more of a surprise instead of a little letdown.

OH GOSH! Then we would have a billion thread of people crying that they bought their iPhone 3G S on launch day and they DESERVE to be able to upgrade! How lame!

The original Type R was the Honda/Acura

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Type_R

Jag just ripped them off, kinda like how the iPhone keeps getting ripped off.

Yeah, true, although the whole "Type" thing goes back farther with Jaguar, I think.

Anyway, this thread I think does not serve a useful purpose; if there really needs to be additional discussion of when a 4G iPhone will come out, use another existing thread.
