iPhone 3G screen issue

I have a thin vertical line of width 1 pixel from the top to the bottom on my LCD.

It's not a dead or stuck pixel line, but rather the line seems to be the start of a screen repeat.

Basically, at that line, the screen repeats whatever was about 2 pixels left of it.

If a normal screen is:

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

Mine is:

1 2 3 4 5 6 5 6 7

Does anybody know what's wrong?

It could be several different things that caused this issue, the good news is that it is covered in apple care, which you should have gotten for your phone when you bought it, if you didn't then you might have to fork out 99$ to fix it, either way take it in to an apple store and get it looked at.
