Hello guys, as you can tell this is my first time posting here.

On to the issue with my phone. I woke up one morning made a call, and then proceeded to place my phone down on the bed. I came back at the most 20 minutes later, to find that the screen had turned completely white. After seeing that it would not respond to any of my prodding, I forced restarted it. Though the screen was no longer white, it was now completely black. I still received calls/texts/ the vibrator worked, and I could still forcibly restart it or shut it down. I tried restoring/updating. I ended up making an appointment at the genius bar, and while I was there I was told that it was from water damage, and that two stickers that should have been white were red. I was shocked when I heard this, because I believed the issue had nothing to do with water.

Now it should be noted that I have had this phone for almost 2 years, and have never had a case on it. The screen is faultless except for one minor scratch on the side. The 'genius' proceeded to tell me that it could have happened up to several years ago, and that my phone was just now suffering from the effects. While I won't rule this out, because crazy things do happen. The chances are extremely slim, and I honestly never remember even getting my phone wet enough to the point where it would effect anything. I believe a few drops of rain were probably the cause of the stickers changing colors, and the most my phone has come into contact with any liquid substance.

Again thanks guys, I chose to come to this forum, because the general populous seems to be astute.
