iphone 3g stuck on green screen and apple logo

Hi How is everyone, I hope some one can help me with my iphone 3g. The problem is my iphone shows green screen when connected via cable with the laptop or computer which turns to black screen with an apple logo and stay there. after some time it flashes and then restart automatically and the same process continues. I have tried everything, DFU mode , nothing works it wont restore neither itunes detect it when connected . When i connect it with the wall charger it straight comes to black screen with apple logo and thats it . I been searching the internet for the last 4 days and have tried every method I found to restore my iphone but all in vain. Any suggestions please what should I do. I bought this phone from some one with already having same problem with a hope that I might be able to fix it but now I think my investment has gone waist. Thanks in advance

Hmm honestly I think it might be a hardware related issue. Did the original owner of the device say how it came to be this way?

If you have attempted a DFU mode restore and it wont restore I'd recommend going into an Apple store and tell them what you just told us. Or looking into buying a new phone.
