Iphone 3g stuck on slide for emergency calls

Hi i have an iphone 3g stuck on emergency screen..It was initially on 4.1...and got stuck on apple logo..Hence i restored it with 3.1.3 ..then..I got error 1015..using tiny umbrella i kicked it out of recovery mode..now even though i put at & t sim card in it..I cant bypass the screen..and reach the menu..what should i do?

Once the AT&T sim is in the phone, connect it iTunes. It will then activate.

yup activated it..and jailbroke it using cydia.. thanks a lot.. and yeah..lucky me..though it was on ipad baseband..I could restore it without custom ipsw..
