iPhone 3G, Sync Time Question...

Hi, is the iPhone always that slow?

My iPhone (and my Bro's one too) wwwaaayy slower, that the iPod Classic (80GB) or the iPod Touch 2Gen.

It takes for ever to Sync 2500 songs, and a few hours ago, I add about 400 songs and it takes, pss like 10-15 minutes and the iPods (mentioned before) takes like 3 minutes maybe less.

why is that, and more than why, does yours that slow too?

Two TOTALLY different devices. The 30-pin connector at the bottom has more things connected to it on the iPhone than on the iPods you mentioned. Also there are different types of storage discs in the iPhone than in the iPod touch and 80GB iPod. The iPhone has a SSD hard drive and the 80GB iPod had a flash drive. I believe the iPod Touch has a SSD drive as well.

The sync time that you mentioned seems average for and iPhone 3G. Mine took about two hours to transfer about 600 songs to my 16GB iPhone 3G. It was faster to download the same 600 songs to my iPod Classic for the my car's dock, about 50 minutes.
