Iphone 3G touchscreen is good but does not work

My wife & I both have Iphone 3G 8GB. My iphone works fine. Her touchscreen & LCD Broke so I bought a new parts & replaced them. The touchscreen on her iphone does not work. I can take her lcd/touchscreen assembly and it works in my phone and my lcd/touchscreen will not work in her phone.

I have swapped these assemblys so much I do not know which one went where but both touch screens do Not work in her iphone but they both work fine in mine.

Does anyone have any ideas to try?
