Iphone 3g travel

HI ya.
Im traveling to South Korea in 2 months Im going to be there for a week.
Can I use my Iphone 3g there? My iphone is my life and im constantly on FB updating and texting so can I use my Iphone there with out adding something to my plan? is there like a hack or something? Any help would be good any kind of information

Usually you need international roaming enabled on your carrier. Voice not so bad. Generally, data roaming 6000Sux because it sooo expensive. A cheaper alternative would be to pick up a prepaid or PAYG SIM card. As far as I know Korean telecos don't offer prepaid, so you'd have to turn to a 3rd party. Vodaphone, Telestial, etc. Most have free roaming. The sticker is with the data. I have no clue. Sorry for no being more helpful.
