I currently am thinking about buying the iPhone 3g. I live in Costa Rica (iPhone not yet available) but frequent the US. My plan is to buy the phone with a 2 year contract with AT&T...however when I am not in the US I would like to use my local provider's (ICE) GSM SIM. Is it possible/or recommended to use a TurboSim for this? What else do I need to know? Are the SIM Chips easy to swap? What about syncing with iTunes8?

I've tried using a sim adapter from any-network.com and it works to unlock a Claro iPhone for use with Tigo in Honduras.
