Iphone 3G unlocked and jailbroken startup problem

Hello, I am having a problem with my iphone and i would really appreciate your help. Recently i formatted the iphone to its default settings and after it was done erasing stuff it does not want to boot up. It only displays the apple logo and stays that way until i turn it off. I tried to connect it to my computer also but it is not recognizable by itunes or even computer hardware. Please help. Thanx

Thanks. that worked but do i have to jailbreak it and unlock it now again? If yes could you please point me to instructions on how to do it? Thank you
