Hey guys, my friend got a 3gs, he's using push notification (tested and working with beejive) within 8 hours of ONLY standby the usage counter reported to be only 5 mins.

Then i got a 3g within the same period using push notification with beejive and 8 hours of standby, my 3g reported about 2 hours of usage.

both devices are at factory setting after restore and beejive was the only app installed.

So what are the odds? and is there any ratio between the standby and the usage counter while using push notification under closed condition (not using for anything else just standby)?

I'm not saying that this is the reason, but the usage counter on my 3G has always been wacky and inaccurate. Do you notice a decreased battery life when comparing the two under the same conditions? (Assuming the batteries are holding approximately the same capacity charge).
